Icom 7300

Mit dem Icom 7300 kann man im Grunde wenig falsch machen. Für etwa €1200,- bekommt man ordentlich viel Funkgerät. Insbesondere der große Bildschirm hat es mir angetan. Bei der Suche nach Funkpartnern hilft das Display mit dem Frequenzoszi und der Wasserfallanzeige ungemein weiter. Das war einer der Hauptgründe mich für das Gerät zu entscheiden.
Der Eingebaute Tuner unterstützt bei dr Anpassung der Antenne, es ist kaum möglich für jedes band ideale Antennen anschalten zu können.

Der IC7300 hat einen USB Anschluss mit Typ A Stecker. Am PC erhält man damit virtuelle Soundkarten und kann auch gleich die CAT Steuerung drüber laufen lassen. Die Konfiguration von WSJT-X ist so mit einem Kabel leicht erledigt.

There is nothing to go wrong with the Icom 7300- The radio is sold fro around €1200,- you get a lot of radio for that money. Especially the big screen attracted me. Browsing the bands is easy by monitoring the display. The oscine and waterfall display show activities. This was one of the main reasons to buy this radio.
It cones with a built in antenna tuner, which simplifies live essentially. I can't have well tuned antennas for all bands.

The IC7300 had a built in USB port with a type A connector. It generates sound devices in the PC and offers CAT functionality as well. So just one cable to the PC and you can configure WSJT-X.
